Chris Winston has a degree in Piano from the University of North Texas and decades of teaching experience with piano students of all ages.
He has been in demand as a performer and piano accompanist for many years. Currently, Chris is the Director of Music of Immanuel Lutheran, Broken Arrow.
Chris is very familiar with all styles of playing and instruction including classical, jazz, rock / pop, country etc. With several published works in print as well as hundreds of recordings currently in rotation on television and film, Chris has the ability to give your student an edge in their education.
The piano lessons are all on a 7 foot Yamaha Grand Piano, meticulously rebuilt and maintained. The piano is within the Winston Music recording studio with access to digital audio and recording software. Interactive computer aided instruction is also available for the student. Recording technology lessons with a cutting edge Digital Audio Workstation and digital instruments is also available.
Lessons on piano are available starting in the Fall of 2025 and will run through the school schedule. All lessons are weekly with payment due at the beginning of the month.
Makeup lessons will be made at the student's (or parents) and teacher's discretion.
All students participate in a twice yearly recital at the end of the Fall and Spring semesters. All students are eligible to compete in local and state wide competitions for piano performance and music theory.
